All Souls Day

Since the early church, Christians have prayed for the dead, to keep "with joyous affection", the memory of all the faithful departed who have lived from the beginning of the world until the end.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord; And let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal church, those in my own home and within my family. Amen.
