AlL Saints Day

Today is All Saints' Day, a solemn holy Day of Obligation (attend Mass) in the Catholic Church . It was started by Pope Boniface IV on May 13 in 609 AD. We dedicate this day to all the saints of the Church who have attained heaven. Remember that Hallowe'en is a secular holiday that comes the night before All Saints' Day.
